Interviews
As part of investigations into leads, you will need to conduct interviews. Here are some tips:
- Call the person to be interviewed with some time in between and inform them about the upcoming interview. This allows the person to prepare.
 - Send (e.g., via email) information about the location, date, and data protection guidelines.
 - Conduct the interview with two people. One person asks the questions, and the other person takes notes.
 - Avoid recording on a tape or video. Instead, document the results in a report, present it to the interviewee, and ask for confirmation or comments.
 - Educate the person about their rights at the beginning of the interview.
 - Ask open-ended questions and avoid leading the interviewee.
 - Start with questions before sharing your own information.
 - Upload all interview results to the case management system (visible only to the internal reporting office).
