Configure Questionnaire
Before configuring a questionnaire, you should
- have added a questionnaire and
- have created all questions as question templates.
Using question templates is not mandatory. However, it will save you time in the future.
When you are ready, let's get started!
Add Questions to Questionnaire
-
Go to Questionnaires and click Edit on the questionnaire of your choice.
-
The section will expand. Add at least one step by clicking Add there.
What are steps?Steps are separate form parts that are displayed as tabs.
-
A form will expand. Give the step a label and click Add.
Suitable labelsThe label is only displayed publicly if you define more than one step.
-
The step will be displayed as a row. Click Edit there to configure the details.
-
A form will expand. You can now add a description for the step (optional) as well as questions. You can now add as many questions as you like. You have the choice between:
- Add new question (manually for this questionnaire only)
- Add question from template (reusable, as previously defined)

Click Add.
-
The question will now appear in the questionnaire. You can configure the details of the question by clicking Edit.
-
Configure additional questions.
RememberAlways click Save after making changes. The interface is currently not very clear.
Add Multiple Steps
Add multiple steps if needed to make your questionnaire more organized.
Sort Questions
For better visual presentation, you can arrange questions in a grid layout. Detailed instructions can be found under Layout for Groups of Questions.
Check Translations
Ensure that all translations are fully provided in the languages you want.
You can simply change the language at the top right in the admin interface. Unprovided translations will not be displayed.
Inherited Questionnaires
Questionnaires are inherited from the main site to other sites. As a reseller, you can transfer your standard questionnaire to all sites in this way.
However, you should configure individual questionnaires for customers directly in their site. Otherwise, customers could see who else is a customer of yours (including potentially personal data like names).
Example
You have a main site. You set up a new site for Customer A. Later, you set up a new site for Customer B. Customer B wants a custom questionnaire. You should create it within the configuration of the site for Customer B.
Review the Questionnaire
Review the questionnaire on the public page of the whistleblower portal. There you will see the configured steps, groups, and questions in action.
Test the form on multiple device types.
