Reports in GlobaLeaks always have a status. New reports are always in the New status.

Good to know

The current status is always visible to the whistleblower.

In addition to the standard statuses, you can configure additional custom statuses, sub-statuses, and their order in case management.

The Standard Statuses

Name	Description
New	Assigned directly when a report is created.
Opened	Automatically set as soon as a report is opened by a recipient for the first time.
Closed	Can be manually set through case management.
