Privacy Policy for Users
You can provide a privacy policy for your users. This policy must be agreed to before an account can be activated.
This is relevant because the names of the recipients are public if whistleblowers can select the recipients.
Good to know
Remember to maintain this configuration in all other languages as well. More information can be found under Settings in Multiple Languages.
To set up a privacy policy for users:
- Go to Users > Tab Options.
- Provide a Privacy Policy in text form or a Privacy Policy (URL)
When users register for this instance, they will see this information and must agree to it.
